North Jersey 99 Member, Susan Loricchio, 2010 recipient of the 99s President Award
On Sunday September 26, 2010, Jet Aviation at Teterboro Airport graciously hosted the invitation only event where Susan Larson, President of the 99s, made the presentation to Susan Loricchio before an impressive group of distinguished guests.
The 99s President's Award is presented for a significant contribution or service to aviation and the 99s. Susan's effort in bringing about a significant relationship between the 99s and Fox Searchlight Pictures with her role in bringing the Press Conference for the movie “Amelia”, to CDW on October 16, 2009 was cited. In attendance were JOHN LANGEVIN Senior VP/GM - JET Aviation, SUSAN LARSON of Santa Fe, NM International President of The 99’s, Inc., JOHN PANARELLI Airport Manager AVPORTS TEB, PAM PHILLIPS Asst. Manager of Teterboro Airport, LOU SAPIENZA Founder/CEO of North South Polar, Inc., JIM VOCELL Vice President/Director of Operations/Chief Pilot – American Air Power Museum, Republic Airport, Long Island, JONATHAN ―JJ‖ GREENWAY Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (AOPA) Air Safety Foundation’s Chief Flight Instructor & Safety Director, RON KRANTZ Retired Airline Pilot (Eastern Airlines) and retired FAA Safety Inspector/Operations and Safety Program Mgr., MIMI STUART renowned international “Artist of Energy”, whose subjects, to name a few, include Moon Mission astronauts Buzz Aldrin & Gene Cernan. JACK ELLIOTT Aviation author, who holds the record of having the longest running aviation newspaper column, which appeared in the Newark Star Ledger JAMES WYNBRANDT independent aviation writer/pilot. ZEHAVA GAL Susan’s voice teacher and mezzo soprano –Originally from Israel, Zehava is an internationally acclaimed artist in Opera, Concert, & Recital, who has per-formed at La Scala, Covent Garden, the Paris Opera, and the New York Philharmonic among others.
